The Script

The Script is a bible study tailored for the artist. The topics and interactive format are designed to encourage personal exploration and spiritual development.

Typically artists invest most of their time in the pursuit of technical training, and too often neglect their spiritual growth. As a consequence, what began from a pure place of genuine love and service to Jesus becomes compromised. The pressures of the mainstream culture and industry exploit their talent, heart and spirit. Even disciples of Christ can find themselves heading in a direction they did not intend to go. If the spiritual connect is weak or absent, then what gets created is like the screech of finger nails going down a chalk board.

Have you ever heard someone sing a song like, 'Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me . . . '? They hit all the right notes, and use all the correct breathing techniques yet, something is missing. Someone else can sing the same song and everyone is in tears. So what's the difference? Simply, the first had no spiritual connect with the song.
